Wendy Ywan once lived under the weight of a severe metabolic illness. For years, the simplest decisions about food, energy, and daily life were not simple at all.
With her family standing beside her, she walked a long and difficult path back to health — nearly a decade of careful recovery, treatment, and lifestyle change.
After her recovery, she went to Johns Hopkins University to study health and the business of healthcare, earning two master's degrees. She has worked in the medical sector ever since.
In 2024, Wendy Ywan founded Zinca Inc. in Canada. Together with her family and team — all of whom understand first-hand how metabolic disease can shape a person's life — she committed Zinca to one purpose: develop the highest-quality products and stand alongside everyone living with metabolic conditions.
